This Privacy Policy explains how LookBusy ("we", "us", "the Site") collects, uses, and protects information when you use https://lookbusy.pages.dev. The operator is based in Germany, while the Site is primarily intended for users in the United States. This policy is written to comply with both the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable US laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA / CPRA) and the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

LookBusy does not require registration. We do not ask for your name, email address, or any personal identification to use the service.

1.2 Information stored locally on your device

We use your browser's localStorage (not cookies) to remember:

• Your watchlist, indices, and crypto list selections
• Optional API keys you enter manually (stored only on your device)
• A randomly generated anonymous chat handle (e.g. "millionaire7")

This data stays on your device. It is not sent to our servers and we cannot read it.

1.3 Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, the hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) and our data relay (Cloudflare Worker) may receive:

• Your IP address (used only to deliver content and prevent abuse)
• Browser type, language, and approximate region
• Pages visited and timestamps

We do not run additional analytics or tracking pixels at this time. If we add analytics in the future (e.g. Cloudflare Web Analytics), this section will be updated.

2. Third-Party Services

LookBusy displays data from public third-party APIs. When you use the Site, your browser may directly contact these providers, and their privacy policies apply:

• Finnhub — stock prices and news (requests are proxied via our Cloudflare Worker; your IP is not sent to Finnhub). finnhub.io/privacy-policy

3. Chat Feature

The trader chat uses ntfy.sh as a public relay. Messages are:

• Anonymous — no account is required and your name is a randomly assigned handle
• Public — anyone with the channel name can read them
• Temporary — messages are not stored long-term by us

Do not share personal information, account credentials, or sensitive data in the chat.

4. Advertising (Future)

LookBusy may, in the future, display advertisements via Google AdSense, direct sponsorships, or affiliate links. If we do:

• Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits. You can opt out at google.com/settings/ads.
• Affiliate links will be disclosed near the link or in a clearly marked section.
• This Privacy Policy will be updated before advertising goes live.

5. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

Under the GDPR, our legal bases are:

• Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising
• Limit use of sensitive personal information
• Non-discrimination when you exercise your rights

LookBusy does not sell personal information for money. If we ever enable interest-based advertising (e.g. Google AdSense personalized ads), this may be considered "sharing" under the CCPA. In that case, a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link will be added before such ads go live. To exercise any CCPA right, email us at the address in section 11.

8. Other US State Privacy Laws

Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and other US states with similar laws have substantially similar rights (access, deletion, correction, opt-out of targeted advertising and certain profiling). To exercise these rights, contact us at the email in section 11.

9. Data Retention

We do not store personal data on our own servers. Cloudflare server logs are typically retained for a short period as described in Cloudflare's policy. Data in your browser's localStorage remains until you clear it.

10. Children (COPPA)

LookBusy is not directed at and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (in the US, per COPPA) or under 16 (in the EU/UK, per GDPR). If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, contact us at the email below and we will promptly delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site.
